In this video tutorial, we will see the instructions on how to remove and replace the gear shift boot and knob on an Opel Astra G, second series, in simple and quick steps. First, get inside the vehicle and detach the gear shift boot by pulling it upwards from the sides, as illustrated in the video; then remove it and take off any retaining clip using pliers. At this point, you can also remove the gear shift knob if desired; in any case, reassemble everything by reversing the disassembly procedure!
