Replacing the Key Battery in Opel Astra and Opel Mokka

Changing the battery in your Opel key/remote is a very simple task. First, extract the manual key from the casing by pressing the appropriate button. In the hole created, lever the casing apart in two halves: to do this, use a small flathead screwdriver or any pointed tool (you can also use the manual key itself). Still using the small flathead screwdriver, lever underneath the battery to remove it from its seat and insert the new one you purchased. Close the casing and insert the manual key.
