Removing Gear Knob and Gaiter on Opel Corsa

Model: Vauxhall Corsa Corsa E - Years 2014-2019

Loosen the metal clip that connects the gaiter to the gear knob to separate the two parts. Remove the gaiter from the base (you can do this by hand, but if it's difficult, use a plastic wedge or a small flat screwdriver). Lift the gaiter as high as possible, unlock the two circular plastic clips, and disconnect the cables. Remove the gear knob and gaiter, then slide off the knob itself and insert the new one into the gaiter. Fit the two plastic clips under the knob and reassemble everything onto the gear lever, remembering the connectors and inserting the gaiter into the base.
