This guide shows how to replace the ignition coil on the Opel Corsa E. The first operation is to open the bonnet and remove the plastic engine cover by pulling it upwards; at this point, you can see the ignition coil. Now, disconnect the power cable from the part to be replaced. Next, remove the two Torx screws to take out the coil by wiggling it in its seat. Due to the possibility that the part may be slightly under vacuum, a bit of patience is required. Now, install the new coil, ensuring the connector points to the right side of the engine. Refit the two Torx screws and reconnect the cable. Reattach the engine cover. The operation is now complete. The cost of the coil is approximately £50-£60 online.
