How to Open an Opel Key

Learn how to open an Opel car key. Remove the cover plastics to access the key battery. Use a screwdriver to pry between the two parts of the key (in the space above the plastic of the key). Pry until the plastic of the key separates from the plastic with the key blade.

Separate the plastics of the key and extract the battery if it's flat using a small screwdriver, then take a new one of the same size and voltage. Fit the small battery inside the key and join the two plastics.

Secure the key blade above the plastic of the key. Disassemble the interior of the key if you want to replace it.
