To replace the gear knob on an Opel Corsa D, use a lever tool to lift the base of the leather cover. Once the cover attached to the knob is fully lifted, remove the clip that secures the knob to the lever. After removing the clip, both the knob and its cover can be completely removed; the new knob should be positioned on the lever and reattached using the clip. Then, secure the leather cover by fitting it into the plastic groove.
