How to Remove the Airbag on an Opel Astra

In this video, you will learn how to remove the airbag after removing the steering wheel from its position on the Opel Astra H series or Zafira B series. Turn the steering wheel to the back and detach the pins by prying with a flat screwdriver in the holes; now the springs holding the airbag will release, allowing you to remove it. On the central cushion, you can see the two supports and the two central contacts that need to be removed when detaching the steering wheel, which control the airbag. To reassemble, reposition it correctly and press to lock it in place. You can now reinsert the steering wheel into its position.
