Disassemble the Key of the Opel Meriva

Model: Vauxhall Meriva MK 2, Meriva B - Years 2010-2017

To disassemble the key/remote of the Opel Meriva, first, release the metal key from its housing by simply pressing the small button that locks it in place. Now, using just your fingers, remove the plastic shell located at the bottom of the key/remote cover, on the side where the Opel logo is present. This will give you access to the battery compartment. If you have an older model key, simply lever in the groove along the edge to open the key shell and access the battery housing.
