Instructions for Gear Lever Mechanism Repair

The mechanism present on the gearbox for engaging the gears (which is operated via cables connected to the gear lever) has two plastic bushings at its ends that, due to wear and aging of the material, make gear engagement difficult, causing a sort of jamming of the lever itself. It is possible to replace the entire mechanism with a new one, but some aftermarket parts manufacturers also sell a repair kit: if the metal support is perfectly intact, then you can proceed with the repair.

To reset the tyre pressure warning light on the Suzuki Jimny, first inflate the tyres to the pressure value indicated on the corresponding sticker: this is located at the bottom of the driver's door pillar.
