How to Dismantle and Change the Lock

Model: Vauxhall Vectra Vectra C, MK 3 - Years 2002-2008

To dismantle the lock, if necessary, start by removing the handle cover by unscrewing the hidden screws. Then unscrew the screws on the lower side of the panel and detach it from the door. Disconnect the internal opening handle cable. Now unscrew the lock screws on the door catch. Remove the lock block and disconnect the electrical connector. From the door frame, unscrew the support for the opening control cable, then detach it from the pivot. Once you have confirmed that the replacement part is exactly the same as the one just removed, you can start reassembling everything, beginning with the last operation performed, which is reconnecting the cable to the pivot and securing it to the door frame. Car model: Opel Vectra.
