To replace the brake pedal switch on an Opel Astra, remove the panel located behind the pedal assembly to access the components at the back. The switch is located directly behind the brake pedal and can be removed by loosening its securing screws and disconnecting the corresponding connector. Once the switch is freed, remove it from its housing to replace it with a new spare part. After installation, reattach the panel behind the pedal assembly.
