Keeping the engine air filter clean and efficient will certainly ensure excellent performance and fuel consumption; it is good practice to periodically clean the filter by blowing it with compressed air and then replace it with a new one after approximately 12,000 miles. In the case of the Opel Agila A, the engine air filter housing is located on the passenger side, in front of the strut dome, and the cover is secured with spring clips. Therefore, unclip the clips to lift the cover, remove the old filter, carefully clean the housing, and insert the new one, ensuring the seal adheres correctly along the edge before repositioning the cover and reattaching the clips.
