How to replace the cabin filter on the Opel Meriva B

To replace the cabin filter on your Opel Meriva B, we must access it, via the center console. Let's start by unclipping the chromed part of the gear gaiter. By exerting pressure from inside the gearbox compartment that has just been removed, release the support from the side of the glove box and finally remove it by pulling towards the seat. You will thus gain access to one of the four screws which support the glove box. Finally, remove the side cover. With these four screws removed, the drawer will come off easily, revealing the cabin filter compartment. We can pull it off easily by applying pressure on both sides and in the center. The compartment contains the filter to be replaced. Remove it and clean the empty compartment well. On the new one, mark the date of the replacement. When reassembling it, be careful because the filter has a direction, do not mount it upside down or it will not do its job. Now you can reassemble the glove box and the job is done.
