How to Replace the Cabin Filter on the Opel Meriva B

Model: Vauxhall Meriva MK 2, Meriva B - Years 2010-2017

To replace the cabin filter on the Opel Meriva B, access it through the centre console. Start by unclipping the chrome part of the gear lever gaiter. Apply pressure from inside the removed gear compartment to unclip the support from the side of the glove box, then pull it out towards the seat. This will give you access to one of the four screws holding the glove box. Finally, remove the side cover. Once these four screws are removed, the glove box will come out easily, revealing the cabin filter compartment. You can pull it out easily by applying pressure to both sides and the centre. The compartment contains the filter to be replaced. Remove it and clean the empty compartment thoroughly. Mark the replacement date on the new filter. When refitting, ensure the filter is oriented correctly; do not install it upside down or it won't function properly. Now you can refit the glove box, and the job is complete.
