Replacement of Windscreen Washer Nozzles

Model: Vauxhall Astra Astra H - Years 2004-2010
Part: Windshield wipers

Due to hard water, the windscreen washer nozzles can become clogged. Replacing them is quite simple: open the front bonnet and remove the seal along the rear edge, just below the windscreen; then, lift the plastic cover and gently tap the nozzles to release them from their seat and the associated feed pipe; next, fit the new nozzles first to the pipe and then click them into place in the plastic grille; ensure they spray the correct amount and in the right direction before completing the installation. To prevent them from clogging again, use distilled water with the appropriate screen wash.

How to Remove the Engine Air Filter on a Dacia Duster

Let’s see how to remove the engine air filter on a Dacia Duster. Open the car door, pull up the engine bonnet release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, and lift the front bonnet, securing it with the prop rod. Remove the soundproofing panel of the engine (if present), open the air kit (unclip the securing hooks), remove the cap of the filter box, and extract the worn air filter. Insert a new filter into the designated housing (ensuring it fits snugly around the edges). Finally, reattach the cap of the air box and tighten the screws. Close the front bonnet after maintenance.
