How to Replace the Battery in an Opel Mokka

Replacing the battery in your Opel Mokka is not a complex task, but it requires careful attention as you need to remove the electronic module located just below the battery. Before proceeding, ensure the engine is off. Lift the bonnet and locate the battery on the right side of the engine bay. Just below it is the electronic component to be removed. First, disconnect the two battery terminals, starting with the negative (black) one. Next, using a flat screwdriver, remove the small water reservoir for the windscreen washers. At this point, unscrew the screw holding the electronic module and remove it completely. You will then have access to the battery security screw. Unscrew it and remove the old battery. Replace it with the new one and finally reassemble all the components you removed earlier.
