Clutch Replacement Instructions

Replacing the clutch kit is not exactly a typical DIY maintenance task as it requires not only good mechanical knowledge but also some workshop equipment such as a lifting platform, a support jack to hold the gearbox, and some specific tools for disassembly. In the case of the vehicle in question, the operation is simplified by the fact that it is not necessary to replace the flywheel, only the disc and pressure plate. Once the gearbox is removed and the worn kit is taken out, clean the new kit of protective oil, position the disc and pressure plate ensuring they are perfectly centred before tightening the fixing bolts. After installing the new kit, reposition the gearbox.
