How to Change the Clutch on an Opel Corsa C Diesel

Replacing the clutch (the kit for this model includes the disc, pressure plate, and a hydraulic release bearing) is not an easy DIY task as it requires a good understanding of general mechanics and some specific tools, such as a clutch alignment tool. To install the new kit, you will need to remove the gearbox, disconnecting the clutch cable, gear cables, and driveshaft. Once the gearbox is free, remove the engine mount to lower it and allow the gearbox to be extracted. Proceed with replacing the clutch components and then reassemble the gearbox in reverse order.
