In this video we see an interesting timelapse of the installation of reinforcements on the engine support of the Opel Astra version G. This is an accessory from Powerflex that can be found on e-commerce sites such as E-Bay with the code 385183202853 at a price of 36.98 euros per pair + 14.07 euros for shipping costs. As we can see in the video, the installation is not difficult: it involves lifting the car from the rear, spraying WD-40 to facilitate the extraction of the piece, then removing the support and installing the two reinforcements, after covering them well with grease to prevent squeaking. We will put the screws back in place after applying threadlocker and then tighten everything.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
