In this specific case, it only had oxidized contacts, so the sensor was still efficient. The connector is located on the engine head, between the second and third spark plugs. As you can see from the photo, the contacts were very oxidized and dirty. It can be cleaned with a special spray (WD-40 is fine), and by intervening mechanically with a small screwdriver. Reconnected the connector and the car started running fine again. To disconnect and connect the connector, we have to press the rear ferrule.
