If the Opel Corsa B Won't Start, It Could Be the Engine RPM Sensor.

If your car, in this case, an Opel Corsa B, won't start, try this procedure before considering more serious issues. If the starter motor turns correctly, but the car behaves as if it is not getting fuel, the problem may be the engine RPM sensor. In this specific case, it only had oxidised contacts, so the sensor was still functioning. The connector is located near the engine head, between the second and third spark plugs. As seen in the photo, the contacts were very oxidised and dirty. Clean it with a suitable spray (WD-40 works well), and mechanically intervene with a small screwdriver. Once the connector is reconnected, the car started functioning properly again. To disconnect and reconnect the connector, press the rear clip.
