In this guide, you will find the main instructions for removing and replacing the engine control unit (ECU) of the Opel Zafira. First, open the bonnet of your car and disconnect both battery terminals (positive and negative). Then, locate the ECU in the engine bay, using a ratchet with an extension and a Torx bit to unscrew its securing bolts, as shown in the video. At this point, disconnect the electrical connector to remove and replace the ECU with the new one, reassembling everything!
