Part: Timing belt
Operation: Timing belt replacement interval on the Opel Mokka

From a mechanical point of view, distribution is defined as the kinematic mechanism which in endothermic four-stroke engines allows synchronized rotation between the crankshaft and the camshaft(s). This system allows the opening and closing of the intake and exhaust valves allowing the entry of fuel and comburent and the expulsion of the gases generated by the combustion. The activation of the distribution takes place through a transmission system which can consist of a chain or dry belt. The interval foreseen by the manufacturer for this car model is around 120,000 km or 6 years.

How to activate the cruise control of the Nissan Qashqai

Let's see how the cruise control is activated on the Nissan Qashqai: you have to activate it by putting the cruise control switch to "on", then, using only the right spoke of the steering wheel, press the "set-" button, then the "res +" button also on the right spoke of the steering wheel and the cruise control indicator lights up on the car's instrument panel display. If the brake pedal is pressed while the cruise control is in operation or if the "cancel" button on the right spoke of the steering wheel is pressed, the cruise control will automatically deactivate and the cruise control indicator on the instrument panel will go out.
