The Minimalist Gear Selector of the Opel Grandland X: How It Works

The gear selector of the Opel Grandland X with automatic transmission is truly minimalist. It has no gear lever or buttons, but a monostable rocker switch: a single selector that is pushed upwards (with two fingers from below) or downwards (by pressing with the thumb). In the adjacent row, there are integrated coloured LEDs. P and R are yellow/orange; N and D are green, and there is a separate button for M, also in green. Yellow/orange indicates parking/reverse gears, while green indicates driving gears (including N, which theoretically moves at very low speed).

How to Replace the Battery on a Honda Vision 110

To replace the battery on a Honda Vision 110, you need to remove the front fairing of the motorcycle, located directly under the front headlamp. To loosen this panel, unscrew the two screws found at its top, just below the handlebar. Once these screws are loosened, lever under the panel to detach it, gaining access to the battery underneath: this battery must be removed from its housing by unscrewing the fixing screws and disconnecting the power cables, replacing it with a new one.
