How to Replace the Air Filter

Model: Vauxhall Astra Astra F - Years 1991-1998

Open the bonnet of your car. Once you locate the clips that hold the cover of the filter box, unclip them one by one, as shown in the images. Loosen the metal clamp holding the intake hose to the box with a screwdriver. Carefully lift the cover of the box and remove the old filter, taking care to temporarily seal the intake of the air filter. It is advisable to blow out the inside of the filter box with an air gun. Remove the temporary sealing of the intake, insert the new filter ensuring that its seal adheres well to the edges of the box. Finally, close everything up, ensuring all clips holding the cover of the box are reattached.
