To replace the timing belt on the Opel Mokka, you need to completely remove the front bumper and the wing corresponding to the right front headlamp: by unscrewing all the fastening screws and removing the parts, you will gain easier access to the side of the engine block, where the pulleys and the corresponding belt are located. Then, by loosening the nut on the tensioner pulley, you can reduce the tension and completely remove it: at this point, you need to reposition the pulleys so that the marks on the belt align with those on the engine block and in turn with those on the pulleys. After installing the belt, you can then reassemble all the components removed earlier.
