How do you replace the timing belt of the Opel Astra?

Model: Vauxhall Astra Astra H - Years 2004-2010
Part: Timing belt

In order to replace the timing belt of the Opel Astra, you need to open the hood and then loosen the bolts that secure the air filter box, located on the left side of the engine block. This will allow you to unscrew the bolts that secure the cover on the left side of the engine block, under which the belt and its pulleys will be located. By loosening the tensioner roller nut, you can reduce the tension and remove the belt from its housing. Then you can insert the new belt, realign the engine, and reinstall all the previously removed components.
