In this video we see how to remove the airbag from the steering wheel of the Opel Insignia: we need to turn the steering wheel completely to the right, until we see a small hole at the back. We enter with a small screwdriver and press firmly, while lifting at the same time. Now we turn the steering wheel all the way to the opposite side. We will find a twin hole to the previous one, where we will perform the same operation. The central block of the airbag in the center of the steering wheel will detach itself from its support at this point. All that remains is to disconnect the two electrical connectors, gently using the same screwdriver. If we also need to remove the steering wheel, we will need an appropriately sized Allen wrench to enter the central hole and remove the steering wheel from the steering column.
