How to remove the steering wheel airbag from the Opel Insignia?

To remove the steering wheel airbag from the Opel Insignia, start the engine so that the steering wheel can be turned upside down. Once the steering wheel is turned, you can leverage the back to release the clips that hold the airbag in its housing. When these clips are released, you can extract the airbag from its housing to disconnect the connectors at the back; at this point, connect the new airbag to the connectors, insert it back into its housing, and check that everything functions correctly.
