Guide to replacing the steering wheel angle sensor of the Opel Insignia

Model: Vauxhall Insigna Insigna A, MK 1 - Years 2008-2017

Today's main instructions will show us how to disassemble and replace the steering wheel angle sensor of the Opel Insignia. First, we open the hood of the car and start by disconnecting the battery as a precaution; then we proceed to remove the steering wheel airbag, disconnecting the electrical connector located on the back, as shown in the video. At this point, we unscrew the central screw of the steering wheel to remove it, disconnecting the wiring of any steering wheel controls; now it will be possible to remove the steering angle sensor by unscrewing the screws found on the back and disconnecting the wiring.
