How to change the battery in the Opel Insignia

Model: Vauxhall Insigna Insigna A, MK 1 - Years 2008-2017

On the Opel Insignia, the battery is located in the engine compartment, clearly visible near the fuse box. In the video, the hood is opened, and the battery area is immediately framed; then access is cleared by removing the top cover and moving it just enough to reach the terminals and the securing clip. At this point, on the Insignia, the connections are addressed: the terminals are loosened, and the cables are disconnected from the battery, keeping everything under control to prevent them from coming into contact again. With the cables free, work is done on the lower/base fastening, and the clip that secures the battery in place is removed. With the clip removed, the battery is lifted and pulled out of its housing. Immediately after, the new battery is seen ready to be placed in the position of the old one: on the Insignia, it is set in the same position, properly seated in the tray, and then secured again with the fastening clip. Once the positioning is completed, the cables are reconnected to the battery terminals.
