How to Remove the Driver's Seat on an Opel Insignia

Model: Vauxhall Insigna MK 2, Insigna B - Years 2017-2026

Removing the seats is a procedure that is practically identical on all cars. First, remove the covers on the seat sliding brackets, which are designed to conceal the bolts. These secure the seat to the car, and now that they are visible, you can unscrew them with an Allen key. If the seat is connected to the airbags, turn off the vehicle and disconnect the wiring. Strange but true, the seat is now removable! Lift it out and take it through the door. If you want to change your seat, you might consider getting rubber pads to reduce vibrations and thus increase comfort before fitting the new one.
