How to Replace the Tailgate Lock on an Opel Corsa?

To replace the tailgate lock on an Opel Corsa, open the tailgate so that the screws securing its inner panel can be unscrewed: by loosening these screws, you can completely detach the panel from the inside of the tailgate, gaining access to the screws that secure the lock. Once these screws are loosened, you can also disconnect the connector attached to the lock, removing it from its housing. Now you can insert the new lock, securing and connecting it properly.
