To replace the fuel filler cap on an Opel Astra, open the cap to locate the two screws that secure it from the inside: these screws, located next to the cap, must be completely loosened. This will allow the fuel filler cap to be fully removed from its housing: the new one can then be positioned and secured with the corresponding side screws.

Once these screws are tightened, check that the entire mechanism functions correctly.
