How to Replace the Fuel Filler Cap on an Opel Astra

To replace the fuel filler cap on an Opel Astra, open the cap to locate the two screws that secure it from the inside: these screws, located next to the cap, must be completely loosened. This will allow the fuel filler cap to be fully removed from its housing: the new one can then be positioned and secured with the corresponding side screws. Once these screws are tightened, check that the entire mechanism functions correctly.
