This video shows how to install roof bars on an Opel Astra K. You can find the original bars, as recommended by our YouTuber on it.Carmager.com, for £154.50, including delivery. However, non-original bars are available online for about half that price. The mounting point corresponds to a small hole located under the roof gutter at the front of the vehicle, and there is another on the opposite side. Once the holes are aligned, tighten the bolts that secure the bars at the top of the component, ensuring to follow the markings on the bars that indicate which bar goes at the front and which at the back, as well as which side goes to the right and which to the left. Use the provided screwdriver to tighten the screws. Close the covers and lock them. Job done.
