Replacing the diesel filter on an Opel Astra model H is very straightforward. Today, with the help of this video tutorial, you will learn how to do it in a few simple steps. The first thing to do is to open the front bonnet and remove the old filter; to do this, simply unscrew the pin that secures the cap and then remove the cover. To remove the cover, you will first need to disconnect the rigid pipes that obstruct the view of the filter. Once the cover is removed, you can proceed to remove the cap of the filter reservoir and the filter itself. Clean the interior with a mixture of liquid and diesel and insert the new filter. With the new filter in place, you can close everything up.
