How to Replace the Fuel Injector on the Opel Astra

Model: Vauxhall Astra Astra H - Years 2004-2010

Disconnect the hoses indicated in the yellow circles and plug them to prevent dust from entering. Now, you need to remove the initial part of the exhaust, which is connected to the engine, by unscrewing its bolts. Also, remove the gasket. Next, disconnect the connector at the bottom left and remove the cover where the connector was located. Unscrew the bolts connecting the small fuel passage pipe and remove it. Now, you need to remove the black plastic pipe that gathers all the connector wires connected to each cylinder and disconnect the connectors as well. Now you can start unscrewing the bolts securing the pipe that delivers fuel to the cylinders, using two screwdrivers to leverage simultaneously to remove it. Now, you need to remove the entire injector from each cylinder by simply pulling it out, and then remove the spark plug inside. All that’s left is to give it a good clean, replace the necessary parts, and follow the steps in reverse for reassembly.
