Now we go underneath and put a new cap on the oil pan, without tightening it to death. Lower the car from the stand, then put the oil back in the tank. Your Astra J 1.4 contains 4 liters of oil (unless it has 64Kw, then 3.75 liters are enough, and 3.5 liters for the 1.3). Fill it up to 90%, and leave it on for 30 seconds to fill the oil filter.
