Engine Oil and Filter Replacement for Opel Astra

In this video, you will learn how to replace the engine oil and oil filter on the Opel Astra. Open the bonnet and use a socket wrench with an extension to unscrew the oil filter. Remember to remove the old gasket and fit the new one. Now lift the vehicle and unscrew the Torx screw for the oil drain; it is recommended to let it drain thoroughly (for about half an hour) to ensure all remaining oil is expelled. At this point, refit the screw, lower the car from the ramp, and remove the oil filler cap to add the new oil (good quality oil is recommended).
