Where is and how to reach the oil filter of an Opel Astra?

The oil filter of our Opel Astra is located on the lower side of the engine, near the oil pan. To reach it, it is necessary to safely lift the car using a jack and place it on jack stands. Then, we will need to unscrew the screws that secure the lower engine cover, and remove it. Once we have completed this step, we will be able to access the filter from the area under the engine. It is recommended to consult the owner's manual for precise location and follow the manufacturer's instructions for oil filter replacement.
