Engine Oil and Filter Replacement on Opel Astra

In this video tutorial, you can see how to replace the engine oil and filter on an Opel Astra. First, position your car on a lift and open the bonnet; unscrew the oil filler cap; pull down the coolant hose; clean the oil filter housing cap; unscrew the cap of the filter housing along with the old filter element using a 32mm spanner. Prepare a container for the old oil filter. Cover the oil filter housing to prevent dirt from falling into the system. Loosen the oil sump cover with a 12mm socket and remove the oil sump cover. Position the container for the used oil under the drain hole. Unscrew the drain plug using a Torx 45 key. Now remove the oil filter and install the new filter.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level.
