Let's see in this short video how to carry out the routine maintenance service, replacing the engine oil and the oil filter, on the Opel Astra H with 1.7 CDTI engine. First we lift the car and we go to remove the oil vent bolt that we find under the engine, using a socket wrench; let it drain in a container for about ten minutes. At this point we open the engine hood and unscrew the screw of the oil filter cover, in order to remove it; pay particular attention to inserting the new filter gasket, then pouring in the new oil!

How to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo

First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video.
