The EGR valve has the function of introducing a part of the exhaust gases back into the intake in order to reduce emissions; constant contact with the exhaust gases, which are often contaminated by vapors of unburned diesel and oil, tends to get dirty up to the point of clogging and therefore blocking of the valve itself, which can also damage the relative electric actuator (error P0400 ); the valve is located in the rear right part of the engine when looking at it from the front, but when you decide to disassemble it to clean it, it is advisable and strongly recommended to also remove the intake manifold to clean and unblock it too.

How to activate the cruise control of the Nissan Qashqai
