In this video, you will see how to change the battery on a Vauxhall Insignia: open the bonnet and remove the plastic cover that protects the battery, then disconnect the negative terminal and the positive terminal, which is covered by a separate cover.

You will need to have the radio code handy, as the vehicle will ask for it when reconnecting the new battery to restart the radio system.

Keep the terminals away from the battery and then remove the securing nut located at the base of the unit. Now you can take it out of its housing and replace it with the new one, which you will reposition in place.

Secure it well, reconnect the positive terminal first, then the negative. Cover the positive terminal with its semi-cover and then cover the entire battery with its lid. Operation completed.
