Today's guide will show us the steps that will allow us to disassemble and replace the transmission belt of the Peugeot Speedfight 3 scooter. First, we put our scooter on the central stand and start unscrewing the transmission casing fixing screws, so that to remove it; then we unscrew the central nut of the fan, subsequently also removing the drive belt, as shown in the video. At this point we replace or overhaul the variator or clutch if necessary; reassemble everything, applying the reverse procedure of disassembly!

As it is advisable to do whenever you want to carry out a maintenance operation on a motorcycle, we place our Moto Guzzi V7 III on the stand, in a stable and safe way. In this way, we safeguard the operator's safety. Now, we unscrew the bolt incorporated in each mirror and continue to unscrew them to remove them from their seat and replace them with the two new mirrors. Once this is done, we proceed to replace the two brake and clutch levers. We use a screwdriver and the appropriate wrench to unscrew the screw that acts as a brake. In the case of the clutch, we remove the clutch cable itself. Finally, we position the new levers in their seat. For that of the clutch, as well as tighten the screw / pin, we must also mount the cable. And that's it!
