He went to Peugeot where they diagnosed a broken AdBlue tank. Replacing the tank costs over 1,300 euros, so he rightly said he would think about it for a moment. Back at home, with his OBD11 scanner, he detected that the problem was actually a clogged filling tube: he replaced it and the error disappeared immediately, with a minimal expense.
