In this tutorial we can see how to replace the gear lever boot in the Peugeot 206, an extremely simple and quick operation. First of all, let's go inside the car, then, using a flat-tip screwdriver or preferably a plastic spatula so as not to leave any marks, we unclip the base of the boot by levering along the perimeter. We then lift the boot itself, cut the tie and separate the knob from the shaft by rotating it forcefully. At this point, all that remains is to insert the replacement, fix it to the knob with a new tie and reassemble everything.
