In this video, see how to change the bulbs in the rear light unit of a Peugeot 407 SW: first, open the boot and remove the carpeted cover in front of the rear light. Inside, there are knobs that you need to unscrew to release the light unit.

From the outside, push firmly to lift the light unit; disconnect the electrical connector, and you will see that there are four plastic clips to access the bulbs. Be careful not to drop the bulb unit while separating the lamps from the lens! Replace the burnt-out bulb, taking care not to touch the glass with bare hands (or it will last half as long).

Reassemble the lens and bulbs, and refit the light unit; put everything back in place, reconnect the electrical connector, and screw the knobs back in. Close the lid: you’re done.
