In this video we can see how to disassemble the central console of the Peugeot 208 MK1: we start with the frame around the gear lever, which in this case is automatic. This part is inserted under pressure, and can be lifted with the help of a plastic spatula.

Once this part is removed, we will remove the cover that goes up to the handbrake lever; this too is only under pressure and can be easily removed. Also under pressure is the handbrake cover, which we will remove by pulling it out from the lever.

Now let's go back to the gear lever: right in front of it we will find two screws to remove, and we will also find a screw under the plastic cover of the rear cup holder. Once these three screws are removed, the main body of the console will come off by simply pulling it upwards.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat.
