How to disassemble the central console of the Peugeot 208

In this video we can see how to disassemble the central console of the Peugeot 208 MK1: we start with the frame around the gear lever, which in this case is automatic. This part is inserted under pressure, and can be lifted with the help of a plastic spatula. Once this part is removed, we will remove the cover that goes up to the handbrake lever; this too is only under pressure and can be easily removed. Also under pressure is the handbrake cover, which we will remove by pulling it out from the lever. Now let's go back to the gear lever: right in front of it we will find two screws to remove, and we will also find a screw under the plastic cover of the rear cup holder. Once these three screws are removed, the main body of the console will come off by simply pulling it upwards.
