Let's see how to deactivate the start & stop from the "Eco" button of a Peugeot 508. It is a rather simple method, which will allow us to not use the system permanently. The good thing is that if at some point we decide to start using it again, no technical modifications will be necessary, nor will we have to go to a workshop. In fact, the method suggested by the youtuber consists of placing a simple spacer on the "Eco" button, so that it remains pressed as always. There are aesthetically more pleasing systems than the one he suggests, such as placing a small piece of plastic, the same color as the button, and cut to the same size. It does the same job and at least it is not visible.
