How to remove the injector from the Peugeot with the DV6 engine.

On Peugeot vehicles equipped with the DV6 (1.6 HDi) engine, the removal of the injector is carried out with the vehicle turned off and safely. Access is cleared by removing the necessary covers, and the area around the well is cleaned to prevent the entry of impurities. The electrical connector of the injector is disconnected, and the fuel return fittings are carefully unfastened, protecting the ends with appropriate caps. The retaining clip (bracket or locking bridge, depending on the variant) is loosened/lifted, and if the injector resists, a dedicated extractor is used, applied to the injector body while respecting the extraction axis. Once extracted, the well hole and line are immediately capped to avoid contamination; then the copper sealing washer is removed and the seat is checked/cleaned. At the end of the procedure, the integrity of the wiring and return line is verified, keeping the area clean in view of a possible reinstallation or replacement.
